From the passion for nature and the constant study of the fascinating world of bees, ReRiccio was born, an organic honey brand created by Maura Chiaretti and Riccardo Bertazzoli, a husband and wife from Ferrara united in an entrepreneurial project that aims for excellence.
The entire production process of ReRiccio honey, certified organic, is done by hand, favoring the sole choice of acacia, which is able to give a sweet taste without crystallizations. Generated by bees raised in 350 hives located in the province of Ferrara, ReRiccio acacia honey is produced by collecting pure flowers on the Euganean Hills and the Bologna Apennines, then accompanying it in three other references from flowers and wild herbs from the Italian Alps. But what makes ReRiccio honey an even more unique product and ideal for a precious gift is the packaging: a transparent square jar with a gold label kept in a real "jewel" box.
"The world of bees has always fascinated us," explain Maura and Riccardo, who founded the ReRiccio brand out of a pure challenge aimed at excellence and driven by a love for beekeeping, combining the expertise of Riccardo, a farmer for generations, and the study that Maura dedicated to bees in her free time during which she refined her knowledge, becoming one of the few Italian Sommeliers for honey. "The sustainability of our project is based on respect for nature, following the seasonality of crops and therefore limiting production depending on the availability of the flowers and herbs we use," explain the two founders of ReRiccio.
