Alemany Honey with Rosemary

Rosemary or rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is a well-known Mediterranean shrub thanks to its culinary, flavoring and functional uses. Rosemary has glands in its leaves that contain essential oils that give it a fragrant, fresh and strong scent, especially when the leaves are crushed.

Cuisine: It is a traditional spice in Mediterranean cuisine. Its aroma is strong and intense, so it is advisable to dose the amount and use it sparingly to prevent its flavor from becoming dominant in the dish. Rosemary leaves, both fresh and dried, are used as a spice to flavor meat and poultry and also to season soups, vegetable-based preparations and sauces for pasta. A sprig of fresh rosemary adds flavor to oils and vinegars, giving a different and pleasant touch that goes well with some dishes and salads.
