About us
At Honning Børsen we love all kinds of honey, which is why we focus on functional honeys, gourmet honeys and also exotic honeys.
Our functional honeys have health-promoting properties and come from both New Zealand and Australia. Our RaKiwi manuka honey from New Zealand is UMF certified and in a class of its own. We also chose Australia because of the diverse flora and fauna, which literally gives the bees more to work with – and you can see, feel and taste it in the honey. The strength of the honey is measured in either MGO or TA.
Our gourmet honeys are healthy, as any honey is, but have been selected for their unique flavors and compositions. For example, pine honey, honey with rose petals, honey from bergamot blossom, or an acacia honey with truffle. Sounds delicious and is delicious!
Our exotic honeys are, as the name suggests, honeys you don't see or find every day. High quality honeys but from countries we are not used to seeing honey from and also from the most remote places in the world, often in fun packaging and with a good story. It could be, for example, our Croape honey from Brazil or our honey from Ethiopia. Maybe a honey with star anise would tempt you?
We are continuously working to expand our range of honeys so that we can meet our customers' needs and we would like to hear from you if you have a honey you would like to see on our exchange.
We strive to offer Denmark's best prices, especially for our functional honeys with high MGO or TA values, without compromising on quality, quite the opposite! Quite simply because we believe that good honey and health should be available to everyone.
A single teaspoon of honey is the result of the life's work of about 12 bees. The little golden drop comes from approximately 30,000 flower visits and is equivalent to a buzzing flight of almost 1,300 kilometers.

TA and MGO Honey
Functional honey is known for its strong antimicrobial properties, and two of the most prominent types are TA (Total Activity) and MGO (Methylglyoxal) honey.
